Who we are
Pentusoil supplies polymers, geosynthetics and plastic film to industrial customers. This notice explains what we collect through this website, why we hold it and how long we keep it. It covers this website only, not the contractual data we hold about customers and suppliers, which is governed by the agreement in place with each of them.
What we collect
We collect the information you give us and a small amount of technical data that any web server records.
- Enquiry details you submit through a form: name, company, email address, telephone number and the content of your message.
- Application details you submit through the careers form, including any attachment you choose to send.
- Server log data: IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request.
- Cookie data used to keep the site working and, where you allow it, to measure how the site is used.
Why we hold it
Enquiry data is held so we can answer your enquiry and, where it becomes an order, fulfil it. Application data is held to assess your application. Server logs are held for security and to diagnose faults. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as the commercial relationship is live and for a period afterwards where we are required to retain records. Unsuccessful job applications are deleted within twelve months unless you ask us to keep them on file. Server logs are rotated on a short cycle.
Who we share it with
Your information reaches our own staff and the service providers that run this website and our email. Those providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for anything else. Where a shipment requires it, we share the details needed for freight, customs and certification.
Cookies
This site uses cookies that are necessary for pages to load and forms to submit. It may also use cookies that measure traffic in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the necessary ones being blocked may stop parts of the site working.

This site is served over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry data is limited to the staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send commercially sensitive documents through a web form without agreeing that with us first.
