Quality & Customer Satisfaction
A supplier is only as good as the last container it shipped. Here is what we test, what we document, and what we do when something is not right.
Tested before it ships, documented when it arrives
Quality control at Pentusoil is not a certificate on a wall — it is a sequence of checks that a batch has to pass before a container is sealed. Incoming resin is verified against the producer’s declaration. Extruded film and geosynthetic rolls are sampled from the line, not from the pallet. Mechanical testing happens in our own laboratory rather than being outsourced back to the supplier who made the material.
Every consignment leaves with a certificate of analysis and a production reference that can be traced back to the shift that made it. If a claim is raised, that reference is where we start — which is why we keep it.
What we check, and where
Incoming material
Resin verified against the producer declaration — melt index, density and moisture before it reaches a hopper.
In-line sampling
Thickness, width and tensile samples taken from the running line each shift, not from the finished pallet.
Laboratory testing
Tensile strength, elongation, puncture and UV resistance measured in our own laboratory against the applicable standard.
Documentation
Certificate of analysis, batch reference and export paperwork travel with the consignment — no chasing after arrival.
If something is wrong
Claims are handled by the same engineer who specified the material, not by a separate department reading a file for the first time. We ask for the batch reference, photographs and — where it matters — a returned sample, and we answer with a finding rather than a form letter.
- Acknowledged within one working day, with the responsible engineer named.
- Retained samples from the same batch re-tested before any conclusion is offered.
- Written finding issued — including when the finding is that the material met spec.
- Replacement, credit or re-specification agreed before the next production run.
